Watch out young leaders! - Meeting at FRU

At the ECTA Convention 2009 in Suhl, some young ECTA members had the idea to form an ECTA Youth Committee. The ECTA Youth Committee is planned to be a joint committee for leaders from all dance forms supported by ECTA. Besides the exchange of information, another goal is to find possibilities how to support young leaders.

ECTA Seminars at the Fall Round Up

ECTA plans to offer three seminars at the upcoming Fall Round Up: 'Emergency situations in dancing', 'Contra Calling for SD Callers' and 'Leadership'. They are primarily focussing on leaders, but are also open to all interested dancers.

ECTA Convention 2011 - Seminars

The convention will take place from Thursday June 23rd to Sunday June 26th, 2011. Like every year, we are trying to set up an attractive program. We are always open for seminar requests. So if you feel like it should be included a certain seminar or special topic, don’t hesitate to contact your Council Coordinator or the Vice-President Steffen Knott. Furthermore, this applies also, if you want to offer a seminar.

 

ECTA Clog Convention 2010

On the first weekend in July we celebrated this year’s ECTA Clog Convention. It took place in Pfungstadt-Eschollbrücken and was hosted by the Devil Cloggers Darmstadt. About 200 dancers were not discouraged by 37°C or Germany’s playing in the World Cup quarter-finals and took part in numerous workshops.
