Dear ECTA-members,

You and your partner are cordially invited to the 35th ECTA Convention from June 11th to 14th, 2026 in Frankfurt am Main.

In addition to the training and further education topics with seminars, council activities and discussion rounds, the personal meetings during the breaks and in the evening, as well as the exchange of experiences and specialist knowledge, are good opportunities to meet old friends and make new ones.

The seminars, each lasting 45 minutes, will take place from Thursday to Saturday. Thursday will begin with a "come together," meaning that all departments will have a welcome session and a joint seminar in one room that afternoon.
Friday and Saturday are then available to each individual department for department specific seminars. On both days, additional cross-departmental seminars and exams for the EEP are also offered

Your support is needed for the evening programs on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Please indicate in the registration form on which evenings, preferably Thursday or Friday, you would like to and can contribute to the program.
It does not necessarily have to have something to do with dancing, quiz rounds, magic, etc. are also possible.

As always, participation at the gala buffet is not mandatory. However, the gala buffet is a highlight of the convention. It would be nice if many members attended with their partners.

Attending all activities of the convention is, as always, free of charge for ECTA members and their partners. Non-Members pay a registration fee of 60€ per person, please use the separate registration form (see link on the right)

In addition, this time we have to charge each participant a conference flat rate of 8 € (Thursday / Sunday) resp. 16 € (Friday, Saturday) which includes coffee/tea/non-alcoholic beverages and Wi-Fi. The price for the flat rate is billed with the catering package of our overnight guests. Daily guests please pay this in cash at the registration desk.

Registration

  • Your registration is important for planning. Please register as soon as possible.
    Please register, even if you are not taking part in the gala buffet or if you are not staying at the congress center!

  • Please book your attandance at the ECTA either online or fill in the registration form (please complete and send it to the ECTA Vice President by May 20, 2026).

  • Additionally you must book your overnight stay directly at the hotel.

lt is located on the outskirts of Frankfurt am Main, directly on the A3 Cologne-Würzburg motorway and is also easily accessible by public transport.

Each room, either as single, twin or triple occupancy with separate beds, has its own bathroom, TV and Wifi access. They can be easily reached via elevator. The conference centre is accessible.

There is a limited number of rooms available until April 12, 2026. RESERVATION CODE "ECTA".

Room charges:

  • Single room including breakfast €66.00/night plus conference flat rate €16.00/full day per person. A complete convention visit (June 11-14, 2026) including all meals and fees costs €342.00.
  • Twin room including breakfast €55.00 per person/night plus conference flat rate €16.00/full day per person. A complete convention visit (June 11-14, 2026) including all meals and fees costs €309.00 per person.
  • Triple room including breakfast €48.00 per person/night plus conference flat rate €16.00/full day per person. A complete convention visit (June 11-14, 2026) including all meals and fees costs €288.00 per person.

In case of late arrival or early departure, the price will change accordingly. Please contact the conference center directly.

Room rates have been negotiated and are valid only for ECTA billing addresses. Anyone who wishes to have a different address on their invoice when paying will be charged the official rates.

Pets are not allowed in the conference center. However, if you would like to bring your pet with you, please contact the conference center directly.

FOOD AND DRINK

The conference flat rate (16 € / 8 €) includes coffee, tea, and small non-alcoholic cold drinks. Also WiFi is included. This flat rate, as well as Lunch (€14.00 each), dinner (€12.00 each), and the gala buffet (€30.00) must be paid separately.

All meals must be booked for overnight guests on the room booking form, daily guests use the  registration form.

Drinks at the Thursday and Friday evenings and also at the gala night are not included in the price and have to be paid by the participants directly at the hotel.

ARRIVAL BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Schedule information via Deutsche Bahn or the RMV (for local traiffic)

From Frankfurt city centre (main station, Hauptwache, Konstablerwache):

Take the S-Bahn S 8, S 9 (towards Frankfurt Airport) to the S-Bahn station Stadion. From there, it is about a ten-minute walk to the sports school.

From Frankfurt Airport:

Take the S-Bahn S8 or S9 towards Hanau HBF to the Stadion S-Bahn station. From there, it is about a ten-minute walk to the sports school.

ARRIVAL BY CAR

Take the A3 Cologne-Frankfurt motorway, exit at Frankfurt-Süd in the direction of the stadium, follow the signs for sports associations and turn into Otto-Fleck-Schneise. Drive around the soccer stadium and you will find the entrance on the left-hand side.

There is a paid parking garage opposite the building. Current prices can be found on the LSB website.

There are no parking slots for RVs / mobile homes or campers available directly at the conference center. Please direct any inquiries to the conference center.

FLIGHT TRAVEL

The conference center can be reached in short time from Airport Frankfurt (see above).

TOURISTIC OFFERS

If you still have time left before, besides or after the convention, Frankfurt has interesting things to offer.

The "Stadion" S-Bahn station is within walking distance and has direct connections to Frankfurt Airport, the main train station, and the city center.

Frankfurt am Main is known as a banking city. But it has much more to offer: the new old town near the Römer, St. Paul's Church, the "Zeil" shopping street, the Palmengarten, and the Museumsufer.

In terms of cuisine, the Sachsenhausen district of Frankfurt is home to the famous "Äpplerkneipen" (apple wine pubs), where you can enjoy classic dishes such as ribs with cabbage, Handkäs' mit Musigg (cheese with mustard) or a Frankfurt schnitzel with green sauce. Probably the best known beyond the city limits is "Frau Rauscher aus der Klappergass'" in Alt-Sachsenhausen.
