We recently learned of the death of one of our former board members through a message from friends. Bob McVey died on January 28, 2025 in Texas.
He had already given up calling a few years ago. Before that, he called Basic thru Plus.
From 1973 to 1978, Bob was a caller for the Heidelberg Hoedowners. He also organized the Chiemsee Week during this time.
During his time here in Europe from 1973 to 1978, Bob held various board positions at ECTA. From 1973 to 1976, he was Training Director, Vice President and President.
Our thoughts are with his family and especially his wife Marilyn.
